JAMES A. BRILES, MD

Dr. Briles was born in Corning, Iowa. He attended Northwest Missouri State University from 1970-1971. He then transferred to Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1975. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1980. Dr. Briles completed his internship and residency at Mercy/St. Luke’s Hospital from 1980-1983. He joined the North River Family Health Center in June 1984.

ANGEL LLANIO, DO

Dr. Llanio received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida, where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Llanio’s professional memberships include the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians and The American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Llanio speaks fluent Spanish. He joined North River Family Health Center in 2014.

CHRISTINE MEHRIARY, MD

Dr. Mehriary is a board-certified family medicine physician. She received her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. Her family medicine residency was completed at Naval Hospital Pensacola. She received her undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Mehriary treats adolescents, adults and older adults, including women's healthcare and work-related injuries.

SARA WEMLINGER, DO

Dr. Wemlinger earned her medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. Her residency was completed at Manatee Memorial Hospital. She is a board-certified family medicine physician with an added certificate of qualification in sports medicine. Her memberships include the American Academy of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine, the American Medical Association, the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine.

A. BLAIR BLUNDEN, PA-C

Blaire Blunden earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Warner Southern College in Lake Wales, Florida in 2004. She attended Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, WV and received a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2008. Blair has been a Physician Assistant at North River Family Center since 2010.

Kathleen Greenfield is from Boston, Massachusetts where she attended Boston College and earned her bachelor’s degree in philosophy and biology in 1983. She then attended Duke University in North Carolina where she earned her physician assistant’s degree in 1986. She has been treating patients at the Family Health Center since January 1995.
